Key Responsibilities: Welcome, check-in, and prepare patients for appointments Perform vital signs, height, weight, BMI, waist circumference, and urinalysis Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture: collect blood specimens, label samples accurately, and follow laboratory handling protocols Assist with injections (vaccines, B12, medications) within scope and under medical directives Support ECGs, swabs, rapid tests,



point-of-care testing, dressing changes, and other clinical procedures as trained Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms Support referrals, e-faxing, patient follow-ups, and EMR documentation Provide front desk support, scheduling, and patient communication Maintain confidentiality and follow PHIPA and infection prevention standards Qualifications & Skills: Experience in family practice, primary care, community clinic, or ambulatory care preferred Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience is an asset Strong patient communication and compassionate bedside manner Professional, organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Comfortable with technology and EMR systems (Juno EMR experience is an asset) CPR Level C/BLS certification (or willingness to update) Medical Office Administration/Assistant training or relevant healthcare experience preferred What We Offer: Supportive, team-based clinic environment Mentorship and learning opportunities Hands-on clinical experience and skill development Opportunity to grow with a patient-centred family practice #J-18808-Ljbffr
