Job Summary Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site. We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Kamloops, BC. Will Make An Impact In The Following Ways Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop. Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools. Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles. Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies. Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products. Maintain own tools. Qualifications and Experience Completes complex internal engine repairs. Performs engine overhauls unassisted. Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components. Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software. Schedule, Locations and Requirements Position operates on a 7‑on/7‑off rotation with 12‑hour shifts under a collective bargaining agreement. The primary schedule will be day shift, though occasional night shifts may be required.



You will support customers across multiple locations within our operating area and may assist at sister operations when needed. You will work at various mineral mine sites performing diagnostics and repairs on both Cummins and non‑Cummins engines and equipment. Required: Journeyperson with red seal. Pre‑access Drug and Alcohol testing required for some sites. This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy. Education, Licenses and Certifications Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred). Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution. Locally valid driving permit. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Compensation and Benefits Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
