POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direction of the Supervisor of the Blood Tribe Youth Ranch, you will work with a team in the delivery of treatment based, residential programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide individual and group support to youth in a treatment-based residential setting, including case management and behaviour management.
- Develop, implement, and participate in structured and unstructured programming and daily activities.
- Liaise effectively with involved professionals and significant family members.
- Attend and participate in regular staff meetings.
- Maintain the residential facility, including cleaning and meal preparation as required.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, including daily logs, intake reports, treatment plans, progress reports, summaries, and treatment team meeting minutes.
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures,
and residential program standards.
- Maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with team members.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care or a related field.
- Valid Class 5 Driverâs License and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Successful completion of CYIM/CSIS check and Criminal Record Check.
