Our Client is looking for a Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support the testing and quality assurance of large-scale enterprise applications within a public-sector setting.

The role will involve both manual and automated testing across functional, integration, regression, API, performance, accessibility, and backend/database testing.

The successful candidate will work closely with developers, Business Analysts, project leads, and other stakeholders to ensure applications meet functional, technical, accessibility, and quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing Conduct manual and automated testing across enterprise applications Perform API testing and validate backend/database functionality Conduct performance, stress, and load testing Identify, document, track, and support resolution of software defects Develop and maintain automated test scripts Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines Perform data validation, migration, transformation, and integrity testing Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Ensure applications meet AODA accessibility requirements Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers,



and other project stakeholders Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Must-Have Qualifications 2+ years of software testing experience in enterprise-level IT environments Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies Extensive experience with AODA testing and accessibility compliance Experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, scripts, and reports Experience with automation/API testing tools such as Selenium and/or Postman Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Load

Runner, or similar Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA, Azure Dev

Ops, or similar Strong understanding of SQL and/or Oracle databases Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, or Git

Lab Experience with functional and non-functional end-to-end testing Nice to Have Public-sector / Ontario Government QA experience Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java

Script, or Bash Experience testing COTS applications Security testing knowledge Experience with Test

Rail, Zephyr, ALM, Cypress, UFT, or Test

Complete Experience with test data management and database/backend validation
