Senior Security Consultant 234343 Desired skills: Cyber Security, Security, Firewall, Perimeter, OT Security Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Perimeter & OT Security Location: Calgary, AB (Hybrid) Contract: 6 Months (Potential Extension) Overview We''re seeking an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to support a major enterprise security initiative focused on strengthening perimeter security, reducing attack surface exposure, and improving secure network architecture across complex enterprise and Operational Technology (OT) environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior consultant who combines robust technical expertise with architecture, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities Assess and optimize enterprise firewall environments Review firewall rule sets to identify overly permissive, redundant, and unused rules Design and improve secure network segmentation strategies Assess external attack surfaces and identify security risks Design secure connectivity between enterprise and OT environments Review VPN, remote access, jump server, and gateway-based access solutions Conduct attack path and exposure assessments Evaluate monitoring, logging,



and detection capabilities Recommend improvements to enhance visibility and incident response Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and application teams Present technical findings and risk assessments to both technical and business stakeholders Required Experience Extensive experience with enterprise firewall platforms (Palo Alto, Check Point, or similar) Strong background in firewall rule analysis and optimization Experience designing secure network segmentation Deep understanding of enterprise perimeter security Experience with VPN and secure remote access technologies Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture Experience working within Operational Technology (OT) and/or Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments Familiarity with Purdue Model, RDMZ architecture, and OT security principles Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, RDP, and enterprise networking Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Experience Experience with OT protocols such as Modbus or OPC Experience performing enterprise security assessments Consulting experience within large enterprise environments Reperio Human Capital acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business.
