Your role is to identify business development opportunities to drive sales within an assigned geographical territory.What You'll Be Doing Every Day:Managing a territory of Convenience & Gas outlets, with the possibility of expanding to other retailers such as grocery, The Beer Store & LCBO accounts to drive sales and execution for the Carlsberg family of brandsRepresent Carlsberg brands in a professional manner by providing retail customers with the best serviceWork with your Manager to set territory goals based on company objectives and develop strategies to meet and/or established target by:Developing customer relations to become a trusted advisorIntroducing current products and promotional events into the marketLeveraging selling skills to solicit ordersClosing distribution gaps by confirming correct shelf tags are present in compliance with account listingEnsuring supply availability through merchandising product and checking order / inventory statusNegotiating space for and building displays to maximize points of interruption as well as confirming and correcting previously agreed display implementationsUsing sales tools provided to identify opportunities & gaps and determine action plan to drive sales, improve distribution, recognize underperforming categories, and increase overall profitability in your territoryRecognizing and utilizing regional sales trends in order to maximize in-store performanceProviding feedback and insight on retail conditions and/or issues as they are encounteredOther duties as requiredYour Experience:Ideally 1-3 years of territory sales and merchandising experience in CPG or at C&GSuperior communication and presentation skillsAmazing relationship building skillsStrong selling skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to influence/lead changeStrong personal drive, positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills are essentialAptitude for fast learning, careful strategic planning and ability to self-support with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentA few other things we'll expect from you:The ability to lift and move up to 25 poundsFull access to a reliable vehicleHigh-speed internet with WiFi at homeThe ability to store some supplies at home and transport them in your vehicleSome overnight travel may be required in remote areasThe RIGHT fit with Encore:At Encore, we feel that no matter your background, what's most important to your success and ours is the way you interact with others.
