Become a Technician in the Fermentation Department at our Animal Health facility in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Contribute to vaccine production while utilizing fermentation and GMP processes in a dynamic environment.
This role focuses on fermentation operations and requires an individual who can work independently as well as collaborate with the team. Key responsibilities include producing antigens, maintaining compliance with cGMP regulations, and supporting ancillary production activities. Candidates should be detail-oriented and capable of problem-solving within a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce antigens promptly and accurately
• Maintain compliance with cGMP and SOP guidelines




• Organize and sterilize materials for production
• Conduct routine environmental monitoring
• Assist in the cleaning and setup of fermenters
Requirements:
• 2-year biotechnology diploma or Bachelor's preferred
• 1-3 years of cGMP bio-manufacturing experience
• Strong knowledge of quality systems
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Valuable communication and documentation skills
