Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production worker / Packager to join our manufacturing team, responsible for assisting with the production, packaging, labelling, and handling of meat products while following company specifications, GMP, HACCP, CFIA, food-safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace-safety requirements. The employee ensures products are properly packaged, labelled, stored, and prepared for shipment while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Duties

- Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble and package meat products according to specifications
- Inspect finished goods for quality assurance, ensuring packaging meets safety and quality standards
- Use forklifts or other warehouse equipment to move raw materials or finished products as needed
- Assist with assembly processes when required, supporting production flow.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas,



including organizing packaging supplies and tools
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of mechanical equipment and materials
- Document packaging activities and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors

Experience

- Prior experience in a meat processing facility, warehouse.
- knowledge and experience using hand tools are advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting while maintaining safety standards
- Experience with packaging, assembly, or related tasks in a manufacturing setting is desirable

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
