Woodlands Inn & Suites is seeking a reliable, self-motivated Hotel Maintenance Associate to support the day-to-day maintenance and overall upkeep of our hotel property.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently while maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of guest rooms and public areas
- Handle general repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment
- Maintain exterior grounds including landscaping, parking lot upkeep, and winter maintenance
- Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests
- Maintain tools, workshop organization, and inventory
- Assist with shuttle vehicle upkeep and occasional guest transportation
- Support building safety compliance and inspections

Qualifications

- 3–5 years of maintenance experience (hotel, building, or property maintenance preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work




- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
- Basic computer skills
- WHMIS, First Aid, or related certifications are considered an asset

Schedule

- Full time
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call evenings and weekends as needed

Compensation & Benefits

- $32–$35 per hour based on experience
