BREKA BAKERY Group is seeking a BREAD BAKER ASSISTANT in our BREAD production team!

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a career as a BREAD BAKER!
You do not need experience as a Baker, however, has experience working in Production facility/large kitchen is a must!

This small team makes artisan style bread as well as yeast donut dough. You will work with these dough to shape, round and organize them on trays.

It is a fast-paced workplace with a high demand of production. You must be a great team player to fit in a small team, physically fit to lift heavy stuff and take direction well.
Having positive attitude and willingness to learn would go a long way!

LOCATION:
8811 Laurel Street, Vancouver

SHIFTS & HOURS:
-6am-2pm, the end time may vary depending on production volume.
-3-5days/week
-Start Date: ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Cut dough using commercial machine
- Shape pastries
- Prepare apple fillings and other ingredients
- Prepare strudels and tortes trays

REQUIREMENTS
- Has experience worked in Production facility/large Kitchen
- Follow our procedures/recipes to meet our product standard




- Excellent communication skills to work as part of a small team
- Physically fit and able to lift 20kg
- Positive attitude & High energy to work effectively
- Punctual & reliable to show up all scheduled shifts
- Attentive to detail and understands the importance of a clean, organized kitchen

COMPENSATION:
Staring Wage $19.5/hour
- 4 month probationally period
- Wage review based on your performance
