We are seeking a full-time EXPERIENCED Bagel Roller and Baker to join our team. As a key member of our bakery, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and maintaining the highest quality bagels for our customers. The ideal candidate MUST have prior experience in professional from scratch bagel baking and experience in using a wood fired oven.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare, hand shape, and bake bagels using traditional methods;
- Prepare dough ensuring all recipes and methods are adhered to in order to consistently produce a high quality bagel;
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment;
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient preparation as needed;
- Provide excellent customer service when needed, maintaining a friendly, welcoming environment for our customers;
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including food handling and sanitation.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a scratch baker, with direct experience with bagels
- Experience working with a wood-fired oven is a MUST
- A passion for baking, with a strong attention to detail and an understanding of the process;
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays (as needed);
- A team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude;
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, rolling and handling dough;
- Although this is a hands on baking position,



prior supervisory and baking team leadership experience will be taken into consideration in our hiring & compensation process.

Our retail space carries a wide range of specialty packaged foods, snacks, brunch items and food related gift items—which rotate on a seasonal basis and often focused around holidays and family & community oriented celebrations.
