Join our team as a Haul Truck Operator and become a vital part of our heavy-duty operations. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating and maintaining large haul trucks. Your experience and work ethic will help ensure smooth, efficient workflows while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials on a forestry road that may, at times, be very muddy.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of haul trucks and other heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and excavators, to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other equipment operators to optimize material movement and workflow
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to maintenance teams
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using compatible machinery like loaders, backhoes, or excavators when necessary
- Maintain accurate logs of material movement,

Skills

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as haul trucks, dozers, loaders, excavators, or similar machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues and understand equipment functions
- Knowledge of safety procedures specific to heavy equipment operation in construction and rural locations
- Valid driver’s license and driver's abstract
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and environmental safety standards
- An excellent work ethic and ability to work with our current crew is vital.
- Prepared to help where and when necessary with other aspects of the project.

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
