Civiltek Limited is looking for experienced and motivated Construction Miners to join our growing team. This position will involve both surface and underground mining construction, with a strong focus on ground support and construction activities including scaling, bolting, rebar installation, and cable bolting.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform underground and surface mining construction activities in accordance with site requirements and safety procedures
- Complete scaling and ground preparation using appropriate tools and equipment
- Install rock bolts, screen, plates, and other ground support systems
- Perform rebar installation, including drilling, placement, tying, and preparation for concrete work
- Install and work with cable bolts and cable support systems
- Assist with concrete, shotcrete, forming, and other mining construction activities as required
- Operate and work around a variety of mining and construction equipment
- Perform drilling, blasting support, mucking, material handling, and general construction tasks as required
- Read and follow drawings, plans, specifications, and site instructions
- Conduct workplace inspections and identify hazards before and during work
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition
- Work safely around mobile equipment, ground support activities, and other underground hazards
- Follow all company, client, and site-specific health and safety requirements
- Work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other contractors to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Perform other duties related to mining construction as required

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in underground mining and/or mining construction




- Experience with scaling, bolting, rebar, and cable bolting is strongly preferred
- Experience with ground support installation and underground construction
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and mining/construction equipment
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings and site instructions
- Strong understanding of underground mining hazards and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a crew
- Physically capable of performing demanding manual work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined areas
- Valid driver's licence is required
- Underground common core training and/or relevant mine site certifications are an asset
- Previous experience with shotcrete, concrete, forming, drilling, or ground support is an asset

Job Type: Full time - Contract
Location: Sudbury, ON and surrounding Northern Ontario mining sites
Schedule: Various schedules depending on project requirements
Wage: Competitive, based on experience
