MVB F.C. is looking for passionate, reliable, and experienced soccer coaches to join our growing youth team program in Mississauga.
We are currently looking for coaches to work with our U9, U10, U11, and U12 teams.
We are looking for individuals with a strong soccer background who enjoy working with young players and understand the importance of technical development, teamwork, discipline, confidence, and creating a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead structured team training sessions
- Develop players' technical skills and understanding of the game
- Prepare players for games, tournaments, and competitive opportunities
- Support individual and team development
- Create a positive, respectful, and engaging environment
- Manage groups of players effectively during practices and games
- Communicate professionally with MVB F.C. staff and families
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, responsibility, and confidence
Requirements
- Previous soccer playing and/or coaching experience is required
- Good understanding of youth soccer and player development
- Experience working with children and youth is preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable,
organized, responsible, and positive
- Comfortable managing a team in training and game environments
- Availability during evenings and/or weekends
- Successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) beforre working independently with players. The cost of the required VSC will be reimbursed by MVB F.C.
Preferred Qualifications
- Soccer coaching certifications are an asset
- First Aid/CPR certification is an asset
- Previous experience coaching youth teams is preferred
- Experience with grassroots or competitive youth soccer is an asset
