Job Overview
Exhibition Hub Canada is looking for enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer-focused Temporary Part-Time Guest Service Associates to join our team in North York, ON for the duration of our exhibition season.
As a Guest Service Associate, you will help create an exceptional and memorable experience for every guest. Working in an exciting, rapid-paced, immersive environment, you will welcome and engage visitors, answer questions, support ticketing and retail operations, and assist with the day-to-day operation of the exhibition.

Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the guest experience.
- Answer guest questions and provide information about the exhibition and experience.
- Assist with guest check-in, ticket collection, ticket sales, and box office operations.
- Engage with guests and help create an immersive and enjoyable atmosphere.
- Assist with retail operations, including merchandise sales, POS transactions, restocking, and concession sales.
- Support inventory activities and maintain organized stock and retail areas.
- Assist with preparation and operation of interactive experiences, including VR equipment where applicable.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and presentable guest areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the retail floor, replenishing and merchandise displays.
- Maintain an organized and orderly stockroom.
- Assist with receiving shipments, price tagging and processing merchandise.
- Assist with setup, breakdown, load-in, and load-out activities.
- Support guest flow and parking-related activities as required.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, supervisors,
and management.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to enhance the overall guest experience.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous customer service, hospitality, retail, entertainment, or guest-services experience is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, approachable, and professional.
- Comfortable actively engaging with guests.
- Robust teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude, accountability and adaptability in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Safety-conscious and attentive to guest needs.
- Ability to learn exhibition content and communicate general information to guests.
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities.
- Previous POS or cash-handling experience is an asset.
Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a shift.
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials as required, including items weighing up to approximately 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and crowded environment.
- Must be available for a part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Must be available to work throughout the exhibition season.
