Duties

- Prepare a variety of desserts and sweet treats according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality
- Assist with food handling procedures, including storage, portioning, and serving to ensure freshness and safety





Requirements

- Prior food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling safety standards
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order calculations, and pricing adjustments
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, including proper cleaning procedures and food safety protocols
- Previous kitchen or food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
