Robotic Weld Technician - Manufacturing
Location: Woodbridge, ON
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr + $0.50 Shift Premium, Paid weekly
Shift: Afternoon Shift – Monday to Friday, 2:00PM-10:00PM
Canadian Executive Search Group (CES) is currently seeking Robotic Weld Technician to support operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment located in the Brampton area. This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for steady work in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial robots, weld controllers, and PLCs.
- Modify and troubleshoot robot, PLC, and HMI programs.
- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and help minimize production downtime.
- Assist with equipment and tooling changeovers.
- Make program adjustments while maintaining or improving product quality.
- Use problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve production issues.
- Support continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
- Follow all health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements:
- 5–7 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Post-secondary education in a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of robotics and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs required; OMRON experience is an asset.
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, particularly low-voltage systems.
- Knowledge of spot welding and MIG welding.
- Ability to read and understand electrical prints.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience with preventative maintenance and equipment repair.
