We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician with certified Power Engineer license to join our client's maintenance team in Surrey, BC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on boiler operation and maintenance experience along with solid electrical expertise.

Shift - Rotational

Pay - $42-$44/hr

Key Responsibilities:-

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, PLCs, and control panels.

- Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical and electronic equipment.

- Operate, monitor, and maintain boilers, compressors, pumps, and HVAC systems in compliance with Power Engineer certification requirements.

- Conduct regular inspections and ensure all equipment, including boilers, runs safely, efficiently, and within regulatory standards.

- Maintain accurate logs, boiler operating records, and maintenance reports.

- Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and compliance with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).





- Support process improvements and energy-saving initiatives.

- Provide timely response to breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:-

- Red Seal Industrial Electrician Certificate (or equivalent).

- Power Engineer Certificate (minimum 4th Class; higher class an asset).

- Demonstrated experience in boiler operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- 3 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing or processing environments.

- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems.

- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an asset.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
