Duties
- Assist licensed physiotherapists in implementing patient treatment plans and therapy sessions
- Support patients with exercises, stretches, and mobility activities under supervision
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for use
- Monitor patient progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physiotherapist
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment records
- Help manage patient scheduling and coordinate appointments efficiently
- Educate patients on post-treatment care routines and home exercises to promote recovery
Skills
- Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is highly desirable
- Solid understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
- Experience with acute care settings, demonstrating ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and healthcare professionals
