SUSHICO Japanese Restaurant is looking for a dependable and motivated Part-Time Dishwasher & Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

This position begins with dishwashing and basic kitchen support duties. As training progresses, team members may have the opportunity to learn additional responsibilities, including food preparation, hot food cooking, and tempura preparation.

We provide hands-on training and encourage team members to develop new skills while gaining experience in different areas of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
- Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, cutting,



and preparing ingredients.
- Assist with hot food preparation and receive additional training in cooking as skills develop.
- Restock food items and kitchen supplies.
- Support the kitchen team during daily operations.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Perform additional kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

- No previous kitchen experience is required. Training will be provided.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work evening shifts starting at 4:00 PM is required.
- Availability to work on Fridays and weekends is required.
- Previous kitchen experience is considered an asset.

Pay: From $18.25 per hour
