Exploring Scholar is a K–12 enrichment campus in North York built around one idea: great teachers do their best work when they're free to actually teach. We handle the scheduling, parent communication, and administrative load so our educators can focus entirely on instruction. What We're Hiring For

We're looking for STEM specialists to fill the following roles on a semester basis:

- Mathematics Educator — Teach number sense through advanced calculus across Grades 3–12; build mathematical confidence and help students move from anxiety to capability
- Science Educator — Cover general science, biology, chemistry, and integrated STEM from elementary through senior high; develop scientific curiosity and inquiry skills
- Dual STEM Specialist — Strong in both math and science? Teach either or both disciplines for maximum scheduling flexibility

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that work across elementary and secondary levels
- Provide individualized feedback in small group or one-on-one settings
- Build student resilience and help learners see themselves as capable in STEM subjects
- Integrate digital tools alongside in-person instruction to enrich the learning experience
- Apply consistent assessment practices and communicate progress clearly

What We're Looking For

- Degree in Mathematics, Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Education, or a related STEM field
- OCT certification, Teacher Candidate status,



or equivalent professional teaching experience
- Demonstrated experience instructing students across Grades 3–12
- Solid knowledge of Ontario Curriculum standards in your subject area(s)
- Comfortable incorporating digital tools into classroom instruction
- Available for a consistent 4+ hours per week on a predictable semester schedule

Subject-Specific Requirements

- Math specialists: Confident teaching from elementary numeracy through calculus and advanced functions
- Science specialists: Solid in general science plus proficiency in Biology (SBI3U/4U), Chemistry (SCH3U/4U), or both
