OCT-certified Mathematics Teacher

Best Brains Learning Center is looking for OCT-certified teachers who are enthusiastic, have robust Knowledge in teaching strategies, good communication skills and should be able to teach Math and English for grades 6 and above. No lesson plans required.

Position Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in education
- OCT/ESL Certified.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching math to Grade 6 and above

Preference to teachers actively working or retired, consideration will be given to teachers holding an interim or temporary Certificate of Qualification and Registration from the OCT and students registered in a Bachelor of Education Program.

Responsibilities:

- Enthusiastic, patient, strong communication skills.
- Passion for teaching
- Teachers must complete hours of observation and training.
- Teach and instruct with a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:4.




- Be comfortable teaching both Math and English (reading and writing strategies) for grades 5 and above
- Keeping track of student progress and providing feedback to parents/center administrators.
- No prior preparation needed for class. All answer keys provided.
- Ability to teach Primary/Intermediate/Secondary levels in Math and English.
- Attend teacher team meetings.
