We're looking for a friendly and dependable Receptionist & Animal Care Assistant to join our veterinary team. This role combines exceptional customer service with hands-on animal care, making it perfect for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families.
What You'll DoReception
- Welcome clients and their pets with a warm, friendly attitude.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with client inquiries.
- Process payments and maintain accurate medical records.
- Keep the reception area organized, welcoming, and running smoothly.
Animal Care
- Assist with handling and restraining pets during exams and treatments.
- Feed, walk, and care for hospitalized animals.
- Clean and disinfect kennels, exam rooms, and treatment areas.
- Prepare supplies and support veterinarians and veterinary technicians throughout the day.
- Help ensure every patient receives compassionate, high-quality care.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Loves working with both people and animals.
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Is organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a quick-paced environment.
- Is comfortable handling dogs, cats, and other small animals.
- Has previous experience in customer service, animal care, or a veterinary clinic (an asset, but not required—we're happy to train the right person!).
