The Bigstone Referral Unit in Wabasca, Alberta is seeking a Casual Referral Clerk to join our talented Bigstone Referral Unit team. This is a rewarding chance if you have an appreciation for Indigenous culture, a desire for continuing professional development and enjoy the support and collaboration from our multidisciplinary team and various other professionals and agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Answer switchboard
- Schedule trips out of town and locally
- MTRS/MTDS data entry daily
- Arrange flights
- Arrange out-of-town accommodations
- Arrange out of town taxi/bus services

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Good knowledge of office procedures
- Be extremely observant to detail and accuracy
- Must be able to work in a diverse environment with frequent interruptions
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Must be a team player and able to work with minimal supervision
- Confidentiality is strictly enforced
- Develop strong relationships and work cooperatively with drivers and clients
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment




- Ability to type 35 wpm
- Experience with MS Office databases and other related software applications

Education and Experience:

- High School Education is an asset
- 2 years of Clerical experience required
- Must be able to do shift work (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Speaking and understanding the Cree language is an asset
- Must have reliable transportation
