Duties

- Prepare and set up forms using carpentry skills to shape concrete structures accurately according to blueprints and schematics
- Operate heavy equipment such as mixers, cranes, and compactors to facilitate effective concrete placement and handling
- Install rebar and reinforcement materials to strengthen concrete elements in compliance with safety standards and project specifications
- Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve smooth, durable finishes
- Read blueprints and schematics meticulously to ensure precise placement of concrete components and adherence to design plans
- Perform restoration and renovation tasks on existing concrete surfaces, including caulking, patching, and sealing to extend lifespan




- Use welding and masonry techniques when necessary for structural repairs or custom installations involving concrete or related materials
- Conduct inspections of work areas for quality control, ensuring proper curing, finishing, and adherence to safety protocols

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge for operating heavy machinery and troubleshooting equipment issues efficiently
- Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry work to create strong foundational elements
- Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, as well as power tools including drills and saws for various tasks
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately for precise execution of projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes with experience in renovation and restoration projects involving concrete surfaces
- Knowledge of welding techniques for structural repairs or custom fabrications involving concrete components
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on construction sites
- Familiarity with flooring installation techniques related to concrete subfloors or overlays

Pay: $20.00-$42.00 per hour

Experience:

- Concrete forming: 5 years (preferred)
