Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining pristine, safe, and welcoming environments for our client. This position is based on cleaning a commercial space 3 times per week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Mondays are 1 hour and 45 minutes. Wednesdays and Fridays are 1 hour 30 minutes.

Cleaning staff room area, staff washrooms, downstairs back rooms, customer washroom and front of store areas.

Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial areas including restrooms, hallways, and common spaces to meet established standards of hygiene and presentation
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and supplies to ensure effective removal of dirt, dust, stains, and debris (Materials supplied)
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping and mopping and/or dusting as needed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors




- Adhere to company policies and health regulations to guarantee a safe and sanitary environment

Requirements

- Previous custodial or cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial setting
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to work independently with no supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable punctuality and a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
- Nice-to-have: prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles; familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning; experience with floor scrubbers and polishers

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
