Express Employment Professionals in Barrie, Ontario is currently looking for a CNC Setter/ Operator in Barrie, ON and surrounding areas for one of our busy local clients.

Our client is looking for someone who is reliable and responsible for a potentially long term role within the company. Previous CNC Mill and CNC Lathe experience is preferred.Programming experience beneficial but not required.

Wage: $22.00 / hr - $25/hour to start

Job Duties:

- Demonstrate a high standard of work ethic and professionalism at all times
- Prepare CNC programs and setup machine
- Support machine setup and operation personnel
- Ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality standards are met
- Some heavy lifting

Job Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience as a CNC Mill Setter/Operation, preferred
- Knowledge of G&M; Cords, Preferred
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Experience with HAAS CNC mills and lathes, preferred
- Ability to machine all types of materials (steel,



aluminum, stainless and plastics)
- Must be able to read precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges)
- Must be able to read a print
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have good math skills
- Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
- Great Attention to detail
- First and foremost, prioritizing quality in all job tasks
- Reliable, Punctual & Consistent with Attendance
