Seasonal Tax Preparer

TAXSMILE INC., is seeking a seasonal tax preparer to join our team for the upcoming tax season. The expected start date is as soon as possible. This position is in person on a specific site.

Qualifications

Accounting, Business and taxation studies and training.

Duties:

Preparing personal tax returns, newcomers, seniors, students and small business

Preparing GST/HST and provincial sales tax returns

Researching income tax matters and providing written or oral summaries to support

Skills:

Basic knowledge of personal tax matters and business returns.

Familiarity with business bookkeeping and Tax software Good Knowledge of computer programs Excellent communication skills.

Job Types: Seasonal, Internship / Co-op, Part time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Salary: $17.60-$17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 44 per week

Experience:

- Customer Service: 1 year (required)
