We are looking for an energetic, results-driven Operations Supervisor to join our team at our Brampton warehouse. In this role, you will support the Senior Operations Manager to champion continuous improvement initiatives, and play a key role in our upcoming system advancements, including a brand-new ERP rollout.
Position Summary:
As the Operations Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and productive workflows. You will provide direct leadership to warehouse associates, monitor performance KPIs, and ensure strict compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Supervise daily warehouse workflows, assign tasks based on operational volume, and coach, train, and develop warehouse employees.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor individual and team productivity against established KPIs, addressing performance or attendance concerns proactively.
- Safety First: Act as a management representative on the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC), ensuring safe Material Handling Equipment (MHE) practices and prompt hazard reporting.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure accurate handling of confectionery and foodservice products to minimize damage and maintain high standards of order accuracy and warehouse housekeeping.
- Inventory & Systems Management: Support inventory accuracy, cycle counts,
and product rotation. You will also assist with process improvements, WMS analysis, and a new ERP implementation.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze metrics to identify process and system gaps, proposing smart, continuous improvement solutions to management.
Qualifications & Key Accountabilities:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a warehouse supervisory, leadership, or team lead role (preferably within a high-volume distribution or foodservice/confectionery environment).
- Safety Focus: Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards, MHE operation (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks), and JHSC experience.
- Technical Savvy: Comfort working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and an interest or background in supporting new technology/ERP implementations.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to build reports, analyze metrics, and actively look for operational gaps to propose improvements.
- Core Strengths: Excellent communication skills, strong accountability for order accuracy, and the ability to collaborate across departments (Transportation, Customer Service, Inventory Control).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
