Seeking an experienced caregiver with at least 2 years of caregiving experience related to dementia and relevant diploma/training to care for our father in his home.

Responsibilities

- Looking after dad who has moderate dementia, and prevent falls.
- Administer meds (pills), prepare meals, etc.
- Assist with personal hygiene and changing clothes.
- Housekeeping and sanitation duties
- Monitor and report on parents health status and any changes in condition

Experience

- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care
- Experience caring for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Ability to perform caregiving duties that involve physical support
- Compassionate attitude
- Prior training or certification in caregiving

Salary: $28/hr. This is on payroll and amount is firm. No negotiation. Looking for commitment of at least one year or more. We will NOT sponsor work visas or hire foreign workers who have no work status in Canada. We welcome applications from youth, newcomers, Indigenous people, etc.

Pay: $28.00 per hour
