The Role
We’re on the hunt for Lead Public Practice Accountant who’s ready to step into a key role on our team. You’ll work closely with our Accounting Manager and CPAs, owning client files, managing full-cycle accounting, and ensuring our clients’ finances are in top shape. This is a full-time role (40-44 hours/week, Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend crunch time during busy seasons).

What You’ll Do

- Manage full-cycle accounting — prep & finalize financials, close books, ensure compliance with Canadian standards.
- Lead tax prep & filings (corporate & personal) with accuracy and timeliness.
- Take on compilation engagements and Review/Audit Engagement across different industries.
- Handle payroll, reconciliations, T2s, T1s, and other accounting essentials.

What We’re Looking For
✔ Bachelor’s in Business Admin (Accounting focus).
✔ 3+ years managing the full accounting cycle.




✔ 3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks (online & desktop) + Excel wizardry.
✔ 2+ years of corporate tax filing & compilation work.
✔ Solid eye for detail, cool under pressure, and fluent in accounting tech (QuickBooks, CaseWare, TaxPrep, Profile, Xero, etc.).

Pay: $67,500.00-$80,000.00 per year
