Job description:
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team. The work site is out of Levis Quebec and will require travel if not local to the area. It is a rotation position, of a two week on two week off schedule.
Duties
- Working with Production Managers and Client, report and aid in maintaining the work schedule, work packs and navigate planning conflicts.
- Gather and produce necessary information to support production in daily activities and work fronts.
- Material coordination, be it purchasing, scheduling deliveries, following lead times , kitting etc.
- Subcontractor communication for scheduling and planning of upcoming milestones.
- Aid in information gathering for Quality control team for smooth transition between production and QC/QA
Experience
- Strong organizational skills are a must.
- Previous experience in the trades
- Able to show proven safety culture
- Proven Experience in Shipbuilding or Ship Repair
- Knowledge in Navisworks software is desirable
- Knowledge in Microsoft Projects is desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with piping systems, pumps, motors, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements
- Solid understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and quality assurance practices.

Pay: $38.00-$46.00 per hour
Expected hours: 70.0 per week
