This position covers Peterborough and surrounding areas for home to home care. Each visit is 1 hour long and then you go to your next client home.

The full time position is 8am-4pm mon-fri plus alternate weekends both sat and sun. Averaging approximately 30-35 hours weekly. This is a fixed and set schedule, there is no flexibility with the days or time frame.

The casual position is 8am-2pm mon, wed, fri and alternate weekends both sat and sun. This is a fixed and set schedule, there is no flexibility with the days or time frame.

As this is community visiting position a drivers licence (G or G2), a reliable vehicle and car insurance in your name are needed to perform this job. We do pay 40 cents/km between clients for mileage and clients are grouped together as much as possible to minimize travel between.

Starting pay is $22/hr and does include the government wage portion.

Full time staff receive a $50 monthly phone allowance and are eligible for benefits after 3 months.





Casual staff receive a $15 monthly phone allowance but are not eligible for advantages.

Requirements:

Vulnerable Sector Police Check not over 12 months old

PSW certificate or international nursing degree

Valid CPR certificate

TB test results from within 12 months or chest xray from within 24 months

G or G2 drivers licence, a vehicle and insurance in your name

Must own a cell phone with data

Responsibilities:

Assisting clients with all aspects of daily living

Food preparation and/or assistance with feeding as required

Light housekeeping such as: dishes, folding laundry etc
