Trailer and truck Repair Mechanic Needed

We are looking for an experienced Trailer and truck Repair Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience repairing and maintaining commercial trailers and be comfortable working on mechanical, electrical, and air brake systems.

Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers
- Repair and replace air brake systems and brake components
- Replace and repair air bags and suspension components
- Replace wheel seals, bearings, and related components
- Perform brake repairs and brake adjustments
- Troubleshoot and repair trailer electrical systems, wiring, lights, and connectors
- Perform oil changes and routine trailer maintenance
- Inspect and maintain air lines, valves, fittings, and suspension systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
- Diagnose and repair trailer-related mechanical and electrical problems
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance
- Safely use hand tools, power tools,



and shop equipment
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic, Heavy-Duty Mechanic, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of trailer brakes, air systems, suspension, and electrical systems
- Experience replacing brakes, air bags, wheel seals, and other trailer components
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems and read basic wiring diagrams
- Experience with preventative maintenance and inspections
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety

Pay: From $24.89 per hour
