Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs during busy service times
- Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to customers or front-of-house staff, supporting efficient food service
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures at all times




- Support inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supplies needed
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with kitchen staff and adhering to health regulations

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking processes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in fast-paced kitchens or the food industry preferred
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Strong communication skills for working seamlessly with team members and front-of-house staff
- Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and advancing within the hospitality sector
