Overview

We are looking for a dedicated sheet metal worker to join our team! We mainly work in the residential field, but do some commercial work at times. You will be responsible for the installation of all the components necessary for heating and cooling systems. Resicom Buildings Ltd will provide a company car for when you're on the clock. Your schedule will be composed of a typical 40 hours work week, working 8 hours Monday to Friday. This job is a great chance to get started with hands on work and developing your skills further.

Duties

- Assemble sheet metal components using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installations.
- Install sheet metal systems in various settings, including residential homes and commercial buildings.
- Perform welding, caulking, and sealing to ensure airtight and weatherproof finishes on ductwork and roofing.
- Conduct quality inspections during installation to verify adherence to safety standards and project requirements.




- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to schematics or structural challenges during installation or repair.

Experience

- Proven experience working with hand tools such as snips, hammers, drills, and measuring devices in construction or restoration environments.
- Construction experience with a focus on sheet metal fabrication or installation is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques alongside familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Skilled in welding techniques, caulking methods, and general restoration procedures.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces while maintaining attention to detail throughout the process.
