We are looking for a passionate Math Tutor to provide personalized, in-person instruction to students in Grades 1–12. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, patient, and able to explain concepts clearly while helping students improve academic performance and build confidence.
Responsibilities
● Teach Ontario curriculum mathematics to students in Grades 1–12.
● Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to individual needs.
● Prepare lesson materials, homework, and practice assessments.
● Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
● Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
● Communicate with parents and the academic team when needed.
Qualifications
● Robust mathematics background and clear communication.
● Previous tutoring or classroom teaching experience is preferred.
● Patient, responsible,
and enthusiastic about working with children.
● Able to commit to a consistent weekly teaching schedule.
● Comfortable teaching in person at our Unionville location.
● Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset.

● Session type: One-on-one or small group
● Schedule: Evening shifts and weekend availability; minimum one shift per week
● Pay: $20–30 per hour
