Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items to enhance their experience.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining attention to detail.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food industry setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous.
- Experience using POS systems for order processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating totals accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.
