Responsibilities:

- Must be punctual and responsible for delivery on time.

- Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, Flat bed experience is Plus.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- Communicate with dispatch regarding any delays or issues
- Ensure the proper loading and unloading of cargo
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times

Skills:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record with minimum 2 years experience of Class 1 driving.
- Robust knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Proficient in automotive repair and maintenance to handle minor repairs on the truck as needed

- Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatch, customers, and other drivers on the road
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on the road
- Strong attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and safe driving practices

You must have minimum 1 year class 1 driving experience.

2-4 TRIPS/WEEK depending upon volume.

Night Trips.

Must have chain up experience.

All trucks have Automatic Transmission and Radios in all trucks for driver's safety.

Flat Rates:

Kamloops: $400

Kelowna/Penticton/Vernon/Armstrong : $450

Sicamouse switch: $475

Extra PU /Drop : $25

Chain up: $25 each time when Chain up required.

Yard to Yard.

All rates before all deductions.
