Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking tasks under supervision
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations and storage areas
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards
- Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Support serving activities by delivering dishes to guests or assisting with table setups when needed
- Maintain inventory levels of supplies and notify staff of low stock items
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working setting for everyone
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking basics
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
