CDN. Power Pac is currently hiring a Journeyman Electrician or 4th Year Apprentice to join our growing Solar Division.

This is a great chance for an experienced electrician looking to gain or expand their experience in the renewable energy industry while working with an established Alberta electrical contractor.

Position Details

- Day Shift
- Start ASAP
- 1 Month+ Duration
- 5 x 8-Hour Shifts
- Edmonton and surrounding area
- No camp or LOA
- Own transportation required

Must Haves

- Journeyman Electrician or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
- Commercial electrical experience
- Valid CSTS
- Valid Fall Arrest certification
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Residential and/or commercial solar experience
- Conduit bending
- Wire pulling
- Aerial Work Platform (AWP) certification
- Experience working at heights
- Comfortable climbing and performing physically demanding work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience reading electrical drawings and single-line diagrams

About the Role

The successful candidate will support our Solar Division on residential and commercial solar PV projects.



Work may include solar equipment installation, conduit and cable installation, electrical terminations, system wiring, equipment mounting, troubleshooting, commissioning support, and other electrical work associated with solar installations.

Solar experience is preferred, but we are also interested in strong commercial electricians who are motivated to learn and grow within the renewable energy industry.
