Overview

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Florist/Floral Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high quality floral arrangements and gift baskets designs for all occasions. ONLY APPLICANTS WITH PROFESSIONAL DESIGN EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Responsibilities:

- Design floral arrangements and gift baskets for all occasions and holidays.
- Provide excellent customer service to guide customers in choosing floral arrangements or gift baskets for their special occasion.
- Manage inventory of flowers including placing wholesale orders, floral care and maintaining the floral fridge.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showroom and workspace to promote products, safety and efficiency
- Handle point-of-sale transactions for telephone orders, in person customer communication and online orders.
- Support showroom merchandising by creating attractive displays of floral arrangements and gift basket designs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and exceptional customer service.




- Proven experience as a florist / floral designer is a must for this position
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in fast-paced environments
- Strong computer skills
- Physically fit to handle lifting, climbing stairs and standing most of the day.
- Availability for all seasonal holidays, particularly Christmas, Valentine's & Mother's Day.

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
