Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framer/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse building projects, from residential renovations to commercial structures, contributing directly to creating durable, high-quality frameworks. As a key member of our crew, you'll be instrumental in transforming blueprints into real-world structures, ensuring safety, precision, and efficiency at every stage. Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing and related tasks
- Construct and install concrete forms for foundations, walls, and other structural elements using hand tools and power tools
- Assist with siding installation, framing walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when necessary for lifting and positioning materials
- Perform heavy lifting of materials like lumber, concrete forms, and other building supplies safely and efficiently
- Use woodworking skills to cut, shape, and assemble framing components with precision




- Support concrete finishing tasks and assist with restoration projects as needed to ensure quality standards are met

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on framing or related trades
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and power tools (drills, saws)
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and concrete finishing processes
- Familiarity with siding installation and woodworking practices
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during the workday
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction environments
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills like welding or working with schematics

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
