Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide support and assistance to an elderly couple. The hours are two or three 24 hour shifts and can be versatile.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving, with a focus on senior and dementia care. Good communication skills are required in order to communicate effectively with the individuals, the family and the coordinator.

A driver's license is required.

Duties

- Assist the individuals with personal care including showering, dressing and grooming.
- Provide assistance with transferring using a ceiling lift. Training is provided.
- Administer medication following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Do meal preparation and assist with eating as needed.
- Drive the couple to church, appointments and shopping.
- Provide light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to coordinator.
- Document care in a daily journal.

Pay: From $350.00 per day
