*JOB REQUIREMENTS*

Language: Basic English

Experience: 4 seasons of related experience or equivalent

Areas of work: Parks, green spaces, sports fields, environmental reserves, retention ponds, irrigation, maintenance, civil earth moving, horticulture

Worksite Setting: Outdoor, wet, noisy, dusty, hot

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Work conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks

Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs), manual dexterity, attention todetail, hand-eye coordination, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking

Personal Suitability: Dependability, reliability, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, team player

*DUTIES*

- Install and maintain landscape (sod, trees, shrubs, turf, live plant materials, mulch, erosion control measures, etc.)
- Install hardscape (pavers, boulders, retaining walls, etc.)
- Install structures (signs, site furniture, structural art, etc.)
- Work alongside heavy equipment operators and other trades
- General site cleaning and maintenance
- Use of shovels, spades, rakes and other hand tools
- General construction/landscape site work, as needed (e.g., picking up and transporting tools and materials,



washing equipment, testing and repairing irrigation systems, minor equipment repairs and maintenance, etc.)

Job Location: 242144 112 St E, De Winton, AB

All employees are required to work in various locations in Calgary and the surrounding areas (Airdrie, Crossfield, Chestermere, Okotoks, etc.)

Wage: $25-$27 / hour

Wage will be decided based on applicant's applied skills and past work experience

Employment Terms and Conditions:

Seasonal, Full-Time

Monday to Friday and every other Saturday

7:00am-6:00pm (10.5 hours/day)

Hours may be affected by weather conditions

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 – 65.0 per week
