Duties

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, ensuring optimal oral health for each patient
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and personalized care plans to promote lifelong dental wellness
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with precision and confidence
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix, documenting treatments and observations clearly
- Take and develop digital X-rays, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient questions, scheduling follow-up appointments, and ensuring a positive experience




- Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed, including sterilization procedures and inventory management

Skills

- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software for efficient record keeping
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and terminology to support specialized patient needs
- Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations are highly valued
- Strong background in dental assisting techniques and pediatric dentistry to serve patients of all ages
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry for accurate documentation and communication
- Prior experience working in a busy dental office environment demonstrating organizational skills and adaptability
