Nexa Group Ltd. is hiring part-time door-to-door canvassers to generate leads for residential painting projects. This is lead generation only — you are not selling, not pricing, and not booking jobs. Your focus is to knock assigned neighborhoods, speak with homeowners professionally, and collect contact details from people interested in painting.

Pay

- Ontario minimum wage (hourly for hours worked)
- 2% commission on jobs that are booked from your leads (paid after the job is signed and deposit is received)

What counts as a qualified lead

A lead qualifies when it includes:

- Homeowner/decision-maker full name
- Address
- Phone number + email
- Project type (interior/exterior/cabinets) + general scope (what areas)
- Timeline (when they want it done)
- Permission to contact

Responsibilities

- Canvass assigned streets/neighborhoods in Thornhill and surrounding areas
- Have short, respectful conversations with homeowners
- Collect accurate lead details using a form on your phone
- Submit leads the same day




- Follow training and scripts (no pressure tactics)
- Track basic daily activity (doors knocked, conversations, leads submitted)

Requirements

- Comfortable speaking with strangers and handling rejection professionally
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to walk outdoors for extended periods (winter conditions included)
- Smartphone with data plan (required to submit leads)
- Customer service, fundraising, or canvassing experience is an asset (not required)
- Must be eligible to work in Canada

Schedule

- Part-time only
- Shifts typically 2–4 hours
- Evenings and weekends available (often best performance)
- Preference given to applicants who can commit to 2–3 shifts per week
