Bodyshop Manager

**Queen’s Park Autobody – Winnipeg, Manitoba**

**Full time | Permanent**

**Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience**

Queen’s Park Autobody is looking for an experienced, organized, and driven **Bodyshop Manager** to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our collision repair facility.

We are looking for someone who understands the autobody industry, can lead people effectively, communicates well with customers and insurance partners, and takes ownership of shop performance from vehicle intake through final delivery.

## Key Responsibilities

* Manage the overall day-to-day operation of the bodyshop

* Lead, support, and hold technicians, painters, estimators, detailers, and support staff accountable

* Coordinate workflow and production to ensure vehicles move efficiently through the repair process

* Monitor repair schedules, cycle times, productivity, quality, and delivery commitments

* Ensure proper vehicle teardown, parts ordering, repair planning, and production scheduling

* Review estimates, supplements, work orders, and repair documentation

* Work closely with MPI, insurance partners, customers, suppliers, and vendors

* Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the repair process

* Ensure repairs meet company quality standards before vehicle delivery

* Address production delays, parts issues, rework, and customer concerns quickly and professionally

* Conduct regular production meetings and maintain clear priorities for the team

* Manage employee performance, attendance, training,



and workplace expectations

* Help recruit, onboard, and develop team members when required

* Maintain a clean, organized, professional, and safe work environment

* Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company policies

* Monitor shop performance and help achieve revenue, gross profit, productivity, and customer-service targets

* Work closely with ownership on operational improvements and long-term growth

## What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience in autobody, collision repair, automotive service, or a similar environment

* Previous management, production management, estimating, or leadership experience

* Strong understanding of collision repair workflow and repair planning

* Experience working with MPI claims is a strong asset

* Experience with collision estimating or management software is an asset

* Strong leadership and people-management skills

* Excellent communication and customer-service skills

* Ability to manage multiple vehicles, employees, deadlines, and priorities at the same time

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability

* High attention to detail and commitment to quality





* Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive workplace culture

* Valid driver's licence

## Compensation & Benefits
