About the Role

The General Packing Labourer is responsible for packaging, handling, organizing, and preparing products for shipment. You will work as part of a team in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment where safety, quality, and efficiency are key.

This is a physically active position that is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Pack and handle products according to company standards
- Prepare and organize products for shipment
- Manage products moving along the production line
- Pull, move, and organize skids and pallets as required
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team
- Maintain productivity and quality standards throughout the shift
- Assist with other general labour duties as required

Previous experience in packing, warehouse, manufacturing, production, food processing, or general labour is an asset. Training may be provided to candidates with the right attitude and work ethic.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Candidates must be comfortable with:

- Working in a cold or temperature-controlled environment
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Working 10–12 hour shifts
- Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift
- Working in a fast-paced production environment
