Duties

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring freshness and quality standards are met.
- Operate the Micros Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for order processing and cash handling.
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders efficiently, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment to ensure food safety compliance.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining attention to detail.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, give correct change, and balance cash drawers at shift end.




- Follow all food handling procedures and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of guests and team members.

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, order totaling, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift moderate weights as needed in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; willingness to learn recent technology is essential.
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours.
